wedding plans

It happens accidentally....well "accidentally" is not really the right word....it just happens....or maybe it's part of the motherly instinct or something.....

Your kids get to a certain age and every wedding you go to you start to automatically plan...envisioning how your kids weddings will be. I never did this 3 years ago.

"Oooo! Look how they set up the candles"...."the little twinkly lights under the tulle on the tables are cool"...."I like how they did their vows"....."I would do this the same"....."I would change that"......

Not that I have any kids that are even remotely ready to get married. I REPEAT! Not that I have any kids that are even remotely ready to get married! ***to my friends who are thinking that I'm hinting at something, or I have some hidden secret--- THAT IS NOT IT!!!***

It just happens....
I think it's like the nesting instinct when your pregnant. Or knowing your biological clock is ticking....or something like that.

There was one thing that I loved at the wedding we went to yesterday....I definitely want this at my daughters wedding (or sons).....

it was a photo booth that the guests used as the guest book. You took your pic and then they had a really pretty scrapbookie thing and you glued your pic in and wrote a message. Then you get to take home a copy of the pics....
We didn't have our boys with us at the wedding. But it was fun to get some silly pictures with the girls.

Nae and Mac did their own... you could do it as many times as you wanted and some of the kids were amazingly creative with their pics.

Yeah, we are definitely having that at Nae's wedding....or whoever.

hey i know a gal that does this as a side job..they just did a wedding in wisconsin. when I say THEY its her and my neice...the other sarah foster. the gal needs help, so sarah goes along. its paid for so guests don't pay. i think.
but they make a lot of $$$$$ and they say they are booked forever. popular idea.

I loved that too. I told my son and his fiance about it. Maybe we will have it at their wedding in Jan.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! And WORSE, my teen participates.

Oh, Ashlea, wouldnt that be nice to have at your wedding?

OH yea, mom, I really want that.

What do you think of that dress?

I don't like the off white, but I like the lace.

Would you want dancing at your wedding?

and on and on.

and yea, not even a boyfriend in sight.
