fighting kids

I'm not talking about human kids.
I'm talking about the four legged kind.

Yeah, we've all heard it before, puppies are worse than babies.
Can't take your eyes off them even for while they are sleeping.

Sometimes I wish I could stick a diaper on him.
He is sleeping through the night thou...most nights.

But now he seems to be at that age fighting constantly with his "siblings".
I feel like I have a couple of 5 and 6 year olds.

Kitty moews "Mommm he's touching me again!" every time the puppy tries to even sniff him.
"Mooommm he looking at me!" the kitty growls when puppy just enters the same room.

Come on kids! I want to scream. Unfortunately I can't make them sit on the couch and hold hands until they can be nice to each other.

And kitty acts like the proverbial little brother. Taunting, sticking out his tongue whenever I have my back turned.
Does he really need to sit just out of puppy's reach and stare at him like that.
Or walk by puppy's head and meow when I just got puppy to sleep?

I swear kitty is giving me the "Mom! Ace just bit me!" meow when Ace did nothing of the sort. Just to get him in trouble. Then he struts around with his nose in the air, turning and giving Ace the butt view, just to say "neener...neener...neener!!!" while Ace is dealt his punishment.

Look out kitty! I'm getting wise to your shenanigans!
I was a little sister once too!

The 4-legged ones are just as bad as the two-legged ones! Sassy is a toy stealer. Ginger will annoy Sassy on purpose. They both complain about the cat and any foster dogs in the house. I'm always telling them "It's a good thing you're cute!".

My daughter's cats do the same thing to each other! They'll do something naughty to another cat,and then instantly run away because they know they shouldn't have.

Your little puppy is just so cute! I bet you can't stay mad at him for too long!!!
The kitty will teach him what is right or wrong! Don't worry about that!

No Fair! I found you first! How come you let Barb comment before me?? She ALWAYS gets to do things before me! Why don't you love me? You love her more! She punched me in the nose once when I was in the first grade. FIRST GRADE! I bled all over my sweater! And you STILL like her better?! Why?? She's lookin at me!

You make me happy that I don't have a dog - sorry. Now, if I can just keep my kids from wanting one...

Dogs and cats can coexist, but they have to sign a treaty like warewolves and vampires (can you tell I saw New Moon today?)

Heh heh! One of our dogs is too old to screw around with the other one, but not for her lack of trying. He just gives her the "old man evil eye" and she backs off. He's like the K9 version of Clint Eastwood, I think :)
